Woohoo Crochet!
After taking quite the break from crocheting, Im starting to finally get back into it! Im crocheting a baby blanket for my friend, as I've said before *smile*. Im not finished with it yet, but Im getting close! I wanted to share this very easy pattern Im doing for it.
Materials
Red Heart Baby yarn
Main Color (MC)
Contrasting Color (CC)
Size I Crochet Hook
Stitch to Know
Dc Decrease: Yarn over hook, insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over, draw through two loops on hook. With 2 loops left on hook, yarn over, insert hook in next stitch or space, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over, draw through two loops on hook, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook.
With CC, Chain 120
Row 1: Dc in 3rd chain from hook and in each ch across. Turn
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each dc across, add MC on last stitch. Turn
Row 3: With MC, Ch 2 (does not count as a stitch), dc in first stitch, ch 1, dc decrease, (ch 1, dc decrease). Repeat from ( to ) to end, dc in last stitch. Turn
Row 4: Ch 2, dc in first stitch, ch 1, work dc decrease in next stitch and next space, work (ch 1, dc decrease) across to end, dc in last stitch. Turn
Rows 5-6: Repeat Row 4
Row 7: With CC, Ch 2, dc in each stitch and each space across. Turn
Row 8: Ch 1, sc in each dc across. Turn
Row 9: Repeat Row 3
Row 10-12: Repeat Row 4
Repeat Rows 7-12 until the blanket is as long as you'd like it.
